The investigations of phase transitions in Ni-Mn-Ga under external magnetic field

Abstract

On the basis of statistical model the phase transitions in Ni-Mn-Ga alloys under external magnetic field have been studied. A phase diagram in H - T coordinates was obtained. A shift of martensitic-austenitic and austenitic-martensitic phase transition temperatures under external magnetic field was defined. The field dependencies of strain were investigated too. Theoretical results agree well with experimental data.
