Abstract
Polygonum lyratum Nakai (= Persicaria lyrata (Nakai) Nakai), described from North Korea, is newly regarded as a synonym of Persicaria glacialis (Meisn.) H. Hara widely distributed in the Himalayas, Tibetan Plateau and several mountains of North China. It is a noteworthy Himalayan element new to the Korean flora. Korean materials belong to the typical variety, P. glacialis, not to Polygonum glaciale var. przewalskii (A. K. Skvortsov & Borodina) A. J. Li.
