Abstract
We have performed a dHvA effect study Of CeB6 under high pressure up to 6 kbar. The dHvA oscillation α from a main Fermi surface has been observed under pressure. The pressure coefficient d In F/dP of the frequency change is + 1.3 × 10-3/kbar and is about three times as large as that expected from the volume compression. On the other hand, the effective mass of χ is found to decrease by about 10% upon application of about 1 kbar and then stays approximately constant up to 6 kbar.
