Abstract

Chiral dendrimers bearing β-amino alcohols on their hyperbranched chain-ends serve as highly enantioselective catalysts and ligands in the enantioselective addition of dialkylzincs to aldehydes with up to 93% ee, and in the enantioselective addition of dialkylzincs to N -diphenylphosphinylimines with up to 94% ee, respectively.
