Abstract
We have performed an in situ photoemission spectroscopy (PES) of well-ordered surfaces of high-quality epitaxial La1-x Srx MnO3(LSMO) thin films to investigate the temperature-dependent changes in the electronic structure of LSMO in detail. For ferromagnetic metal LSMO with x = 0.4, the spectral intensity of the eg states near the Fermi level (EF) significantly increases with decreasing temperature. This result suggests that the stabilization of ferromagnetic ordering causes the enhancement of spectral weight near EF.
