Abstract

Preparation of a η¹:η⁶-μ2-aryl alkynyl diruthenium complex [CP(PPh₃)₂Ru(η¹:η⁶-μ2-C≡CC₆H₄Me-P)RuCp*JCl (2•Cl) [Cp = η⁵-C₅H₅, Cp* = η⁵-C₅Me₅] and its reactions with electrophile or CO are reported. The structure of 2•PF₆ has been determined by X-ray crystallography.
