Abstract
An environmentally friendly soft chemical process for the synthesis of visible-light induced photocatalysts is introduced in this chapter. Titania-based anion doped photocatalysts can be effectively prepared by the 'low-temperature mechanochemical doping treatment'. Compared with conventional preparation processes, mechanochemically synthesized titania-based photocatalysts show excellent ultraviolet and visible-light induced photocatalytic activities, because of their fine particles, high crystallinity and effectivity of doping treatment.
