Abstract

A series of organic salts, i.e. cocrystals of substituted pyridinium cations with benzenesulfonate derivative anions to have materials for frequency doubling of diode laser, has been prepared. Through the variation of counterion materials of fairly large second harmonic generation efficiencies together with short cutoff wavelengths were achieved.
