Abstract
An easy and versatile solution-based route for the synthesis of a new phthalocyanine-based light-harvesting material PCIGS [Cu2(tBu 4PcGa)(tBu4PcIn)S2TPP2] is described. This material is prepared through a one-pot reaction of tBu 4PcM-Cl (M = Ga, In), CuI, and [(CH3)3Si] 2S in the presence of triphenyl phosphine. In contrast to the dilute solution, the linear absorption coefficient of PCIGS complex in the solid state (α0 = 145.35 cm-1) is about 150 times greater than the dilute solution (α0 = 0.95 cm-1) under the conditions of the study. The molecular structure of this material is proposed on the basis of the extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy.
