N2 - Amorphous Ce-82at%Ru alloy obtained by DC sputter deposition is found to be a superconductor with Tc=2.5 K, which is similar to crystalline CeRu2 with Tc = 6 K. The electrical resistivity in the normal state is very large due to disorder scattering, but magnetic and thermal properties are similar to those of the crystalline state.
