Abstract
We investigated the superconductivity of V/Cr-multilayers grown epitaxially on MgO(001) and Al2O3(1120) plate. The preferred orientation of V/Cr is (001) and (110) for MgO and Al2O3, respectively. Thickness of V-layer is fixed at dv=300 A ̊ and that of Cr-layer is varied from 20 to 80Å. Critical temperatures of (001)V/Cr are lower than those of (110)V/Cr. Dimensional crossover in the parallel critical fields Hc2|(T) is observed for dCr=20-60 A ̊ V/Cr on Al2O3 and dCr=20 A ̊ V/Cr on MgO. Stronger anisotropy of Hc2| in 2D region is shown in the samples grown on MgO.
