Superconducting fluctuation proved by time-domain THz spectroscopy of La1.85Sr0.15CuO4 thin film

Frequency-dependent terahertz conductivity of La1.85Sr 0.15CuO4 thin film was investigated. The imaginary part of the complex conductivity, σ2(T,ω), considerably increased at T<30K. This result suggests that the superconducting fluctuation by charge with short lifetime exists only near the superconducting transition temperature, and takes place separately with the spin fluctuation observed by the Nernst signal measurement.
