Abstract

From a comparative analysis of 57Fe Mössbauer spectra of U2Fe13.6Si3.4 and Lu2Fe 13.6Si3.4, the contributions from the Fe and U sublattices to the total magnetic moment of U2Fe13.6Si3.4 are estimated to be MFe=1.33μB and M U=2.6μB.
