Abstract
A hopeful possibility to apply an MC-centrifugal-slurry-pump in waiting operation has been found. Here, such a special attempt is proposed as air is positively introduced to save the power. We take up a specially designed MC-pump in practical use, and carefully observe the detailed aspects of the shaft-horse-power, for various openings of the pressure-relief-valve to control the vacuum pump, and also for various lengths of the suction pipe and passageways of the admitting air. Finally, some suggestions are stated to develop new pump systems for drain stations.
