Abstract
Three-dimensional (3D) images have been investigated chasing the further image quality. In order to ease the subjective evaluation, describing necessary condition of ideal images with the physical parameters seems useful for industry. In this paper, the effect of physical parameters of 3D images, such as view angle, pixel density, signal-to-noise ratio, image depth, etc., to the subjective quality is measured and formulated. An easy 3D image quality measurement method is investigated deriving the relationship between the subjective quality and the objective quality counting the effect of image contents which are usually difficult to describe physically.
