Abstract
The crystallization behavior in the crystalline/crystalline polymer blends of poly(ethylene oxide)/poly(hexamethylene succinate) (PEO/PHS) were examined with polarized optical microscopy (POM) and atomic force microcopy (AFM). POM observation revealed both components of PEO/PHS blend crystallize penetratively through the other components (interpenetrated crystallization) at relatively high T c. AFM observation with thermal control also showed PHS lamellar crystals growing in amorphous region between PHS lamellas. Other results of AFM observation will be reported in our presentation.
