Abstract
The positrons injected into a polymer annihilate with electrons through several kinds of processes influenced by environmental conditions. The AMOC is an appropriate method to investigate the influences of functional groups in polymer on positron and positronium annihilation process. The experiments were performed for polystyrene-related materials. The results showed that the S-parameters relating to ortho-positronium were higher than those relating to free annihilation in all samples and the annihilation process was affected by functional group.
