Structure and magnetic properties of bulky Fe-Al-Ga-P-C-B-Si glassy alloys in a ringed form prepared by Cu mold casting

Abstract

In this study, the structure and magnetic properties for Fe based glassy allows with a bulky ringed shape having various thickness prepared by Cu mold casting were explored. The amorphous nature was documented by x-ray diffraction and optical and transmission electron microscopy (OM and TEM). Thermal stability was determined by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Magnetic properties of saturation magnetization, coercive force and permeability were measured at room temperature with a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), B-H loop tracer and impedance analyzer, respectively.
