Abstract
Spark plasma sintering (SPS) was used to sinter Nb3Al powder prepared by hydriding-dehydriding. Single Nb3Al phase was formed due to the homogeneous nature of the powder composed of nearby single phase Nb3Al. The study on high temperature strength and superconductivity exhibited the superior properties of the sintered samples.
