Abstract
In this paper, the brief introduction of Japanese new space organization born in October 2003 and Japan's microgravity science experiments are summarized, and the future strategic plan of microgravity science for the early years of the 21st century is described. The purpose of ground-based research projects for flight experiments and some typical results of them are introduced briefly. Through the flight experiments and ground-based experiments for preparation of flight experiments, material science researches of Japanese space organization became at the forefront of science and technology in the world. Current status of microgravity experiment plan is also described in near future utilizing the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle.
