Abstract
The microscopic magnetic behavior of an incipent heavy-electron compound UAs (TN = 126 K) has been investigated by 75As NMR in the paramagnetic state up to 700 K. The T-dependence of the energy scale of the spin fluctuation indicates that the relative importance of the exchange interaction compared with the single-site dynamics in the moment relaxation increases from a similar compound UP to UAs.
