Abstract
The antiferromagnetic (AF) state of UGa3 is studied using 69Ga nuclear magnetic resonance. We have observed a drastic change of the hyperfme coupling constant at the Ga site around the AF transition (TN = 67 K) in UGa3. The internal field at the Ga site appears at slightly lower temperature ∼63 K, indicating another anomaly around 63 K. A possible origin of the anomaly is discussed, in terms of orbital ordering.
