Abstract

Oligothiophenes are among the best investigated model compounds for conductive polymers. The conductivities, electronic absorption spectra, and ESR spectra of a series of the longest oligothiophenes in the oxidation states have been experimentally studied, and charge carrier species are discussed based on these spectral data.
