Soft magnetic properties and microstructure in NiFe/FeCo/NiFe films with large saturation magnetization

Abstract

The soft magnetic properties and microstructure in NiFe/FeCo/NiFe films with large saturation magnetization was discussed. A low switching field of the NiFe film enhanced the reduction of coercivity of the FeCo layer through the interfacial exchange coupling between the NiFe and FeCo layers. The results showed that the reduction of lattice strain improved the soft magnetic properties of the film.
