S/N improvement of signal transmission coil in transcutaneous magnetic telemetry system for artificial heart

Abstract

The improvement of signal transmission coil in transcutaneous magnetic telemetry system for artificial heart was discussed. The signal was transmitted by each self resonant frequency by using one turn figure-8-coil, two turns fig-8-coil and ten turns fig-8-coils as a signal transmission coil in the experiment. It was found out that if the signal was transmitted by high frequency, the influence of harmonic voltage of power transmission was reduced.
