Slow positron beam with small energy spread in the magnetic field using reflection type remoderator

Abstract

The reflection type remoderator is equipped in the magnetic transport system This remoderation system can be easily installed at an appropriate position. Using this system, about 40% of the incident positrons on the remoderator are reemitted and about two third of the reemitted positrons are thermalized ones. The energy spread of the thermalized part of positrons reemitted from the remoderator is about 4 eV.
