Single-Channel 10.2 Tbit/s PDM-DQPSK Nyquist Pulse Transmission over 300 km

Abstract

We present the first real-time demonstration of a 10.2 Tbit/s single-carrier transmission with PDM-DQPSK optical Nyquist pulses. At the fastest symbol rate of 2.56 Tbaud utilizing the entire C-band, the 10.2 Tbit/s signal was successfully transmitted over 300 km.
