Abstract

Production processes for a continuum of X-rays in light-ion-atom collisions are surveyed. Scaling laws for secondary-electron bremsstrahlung, quasi-free electron bremsstrahlung, and atomic bremsstrahlung are derived and compared with experimental results. A fairly good agreement is found.
