Abstract
The role of Fe, Mn, and Ru in Fe-Mn-Ru composite catalyst for the syngas to hydrocarbon conversion was clarified. Ru acts as adsorption site of CO, while Fe and Mn increase the selectivity to lower olefins and the probability of chain growth, respectively. A mixed oxide of these components was shown important as a precursor of the selective catalyst.
