Resonating-valence-bond states and ferromagnetic correlations in the doped triangular mott insulator

Abstract

A study was conducted on the effect of hole doping in the triangular Heisenberg model as a typical frustrated Mott insulator. Although there remain error bars in low temperatures, the obtained features were reliable. The results have shown unexpectedly wide variety of the ground states in the doped frustrated system, which was due to the fact that the various states compete in energies.
