Abstract

Quaternary ammonium hydroxides were first applied for the solvothermal synthesis of monodispersed ITO nanoparticles controlled in cubic morphology. The formation of a gel-like intermediate was the decisive factor for the precise control of size and shape. Their blue-colored compacts exhibited low resistivity as a transparent conductive oxide.
