Quantum magnetic oscillations in the quantum vortex liquid state of κ-(BEDT-TTF)2Cu(NCS)2

Abstract

Shubnikov - de Haas (SdH) oscillations are observed in the vortex liquid state of κ-(BEDT-TTF)2Cu(NCS)2. The observation is a first one in the well characterized superconductors. The additional damping of the amplitude is observed below Hc2. In addition the SdH oscillations show the second damping inside the vortex liquid state.
