Abstract
Recently the various artificial bone cements have been developed. But the autogenous transplantation-alternative materials have still not been developed. It is necessary for bone cement material that osteoblast cells do not have rejection and sink into the material. Hydroxyapatite(HA) is very compatible for natural bone. Hybrids consisting of hydroxyapatite and biocompatible hydrogerl which have porous structure are attractive materials for bone repair. We prepared the hydrogel consisting of the 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine (MPC) bearing biocompatibility and the 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphate (Phosmer) bearing phosphate group for HA formation. And we investigated the characterization of the hydrogel.
