Present status of the description of the ϱπ puzzle with explicit consideration of the initial-state interaction

Abstract

The present status of different approaches for the ρ{variant}π production rates in proton-antiproton (PP) annihilation at rest is reported. The effect of the initial-state interaction of the PP system is investigated in the framework of the planar-diagram dominance picture. It is shown that in the planar diagram, inclusion of the D state solves the ρ{variant}π puzzle for the initial S state.
