Abstract
New conductive filler materials with orientation controllability and resin affinity are required. We have reported that the hollow nickel-phosphorus (Ni-P) microfibers are successfully obtained through electroless plating on fibrous hydrogen-bonded molecular assemblages as template fibers. In this study, we described that magnetic hollow Ni-P microfibers were successfully obtained by annealing the hollow Ni-P microfibers. The PDMS polymer films containing the magnetic hollow Ni-P microfibers were prepared in a magnetic field. We found that the magnetic hollow Ni-P microfibers could be oriented readily by the magnetic field.
