Abstract
Novel template method for preparing new carbon nano-particles using elongated polymer nano-particles and heat-resistant materials were developed. The precursors were obtained by elongating the polymeric nano-spheres embedded in PVA matrix. One elongated polymeric nano-sphere could be converted to one hollow carbon nano-particle through these processes. This novel method would make it possible to easily control the shapes and sizes of carbon nano-particles for specific applications.
