Preparation of free-standing polymer nanosheet using photo-crfossilizing reaction

    Recently, a free-standing ultrathin films are considered as prospective sensing membranes for photo-, electro-, and thermal microdevices. We fabricated a free-standing polymer nanosheet by Langmuir-Blodgett method. At the film preparation, UV irradiation was introduced to promote photo-cross-linking reaction in both pDDA-M layers. Gold nanoparticles were immobilized on pDDA-DADOO layer as a label. Moreover, the film was dipped into chloroform solution to peel off from a supported substrate. The prepared film thickness was estimated to be 30 nm by AFM observation.
