Abstract
To prepare uniform hydrogen-bonded fibrous molecular assemblage having a diameter of 100 nm, we synthesized methyl-substituted azopyridine carboxylic acids with a different methylene spacer and compared their morphologies of molecular assemblages by SEM. As a result, uniform molecular assemblage having a diameter of 100 nm could be prepared from the compound with a pentamethylene spacer by neutralization with an HCl aqueous solution. Using the uniform molecular assemblage as template, we proposed a novel method for fabricating a Ni-P porous membrane by electroless plating.
