Abstract
The Cu-In precursors for the selenization growth of CuInSe2 (CIS) thin films were prepared using metal naphthenates by metal-organic decomposition (MOD) with oxidation-reduction process. Subsequently, good crystallinity CIS films were prepared by selenizing them using diethylselenide [(C2H5)2Se:DESe] as selenization source. The samples se-lenized particularly at 530 °C for 60 min exhibited well-defined chalcopyrite structure with slightly In-rich compositions, which can be used as a photo-absorber of CIS-based solar cells.
