Abstract

IsoDAR provides a pure and intense ν̄e source with an average energy of 6.5 MeV produced through Li8 β decay. This source can be paired with a large scintillator detector, such as KamLAND, to produce a sample of ν̄e-electron scatters that is more than 5 times larger than what has been collected before. Such a sample would allow for a 3.2% measurement of sin2θW and a sensitive search for nonstandard interactions.
