Abstract

Polymer-dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) light valves that are used for projection display are discussed in the paper. Light modulation characteristics of the PDLC cell and PDLC film formation methods are aspects considered. A schematic is presented of an experimental system used in the measurement of light scattering from a PDLC cell.
