Abstract

The ET salt with a magnetic counter ion (ET)3(MnCl 4)(TCE) (TCE = 1,1,2-trichloroethane) exhibits pressure-sensitive, complicated electrical behavior due to its semimetallic electronic structure. On the other hand, stronger d-n coupling is suggested in (ET) 3(MnCl3)2(C2H5OH) 2, which has infinite magnetic chains with semimetallic conducting behavior.
