Abstract

A large-acceptance neutral kaon spectrometer system in under construction at the 1.2 GeV booster ring of Tohoku University in order to intensively investigate K0 photoproduction process in the threshold region. It provides unique information on the strangeness production mechanism by the electromagnetic interaction, which cannot be obtained by the charge kaon photoproduction. A series of experiments to measure neutral kaons using an internal tagged photon system are planned with nuclear and deuteron targets.
