Photon drag effect in Au films at the surface plasmon resonance

Abstract

We find that the photon drag effect in a 47nm Au film, mounted on a prism in Fthe Kretschmann geometry, is sharply enhanced when the incident photons resonantly excite surface plasmons at the Au/air interface.
