Phase separation in two kinds of L12-Ni3Al and Ir3Nb of refractory superalloys

Abstract

Two kinds of refractory alloys were heat treated at a high temperature. The composition of these alloys were adjusted to improve the temperature capability. The microstructural evolution and the phase relationships and coherence are also investigated by X ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. Phase compositions were measured by energy dispersive analysis X ray spectroscopy.
