Abstract

The section Ni//3AL-Ni//3Fe was examined by means of metallographic observation, X-ray analysis and diffusion technique combined with EPMA. A two-phase region ( gamma plus gamma prime ) exists at intermediate temperatures, below which the L1//2( gamma prime ) solid solution forms, and above which the disordered fcc ( gamma ) solid solution extends.
