Abstract

The pseudobinary Ni//3Al-Ni//3Mn was examined by metallographic observation, X-ray analyses and diffusion couple technique with EPMA. In this system a two-phase region (y plus y prime ) exists. It extends from high temperature and low Mn concentration to low temperature and high Mn concentration, below which the Li//2 continuous solid solution covers the low-temperature region.
