Performance of Soft Heating for Local Hyperthernia Using Temperature Sensitive Amorphous Metal Flakes

Abstract

A heater made of temperature-sensitive amorphous metal flakes with a length of 100~800 µm was proposed. Calorific power of heaters was calculated on the basis of simple assumptions. The analysis shows the conditions to be satisfied when the amorphous flakes are used as a heater.
