Performance estimations of switched reluctance motor considered with magnetic saturation

Abstract

The dynamic characteristics of the switched reluctance motor (SRM) with magnetic saturation were studied through calculations and measurements. The calculated results agreed very well with the measured results. Further, the maximal output power was 300W when the supply voltage is set up to 200V.
