Abstract
In this study, we have put two different working hypotheses about the perceptional parameter and have examined them. The result supports the hypothesis that human perceives the brightness difference at the gradient of the brightness modulation in the low frequency range. Then we clarified one of the concerns on relation between the perception of human eyes and the gradient of the brightness change by an experiment.
